In Short, This Vendor Was The best experience possible for Hawaii. It had amazing rooms, very Hawaiian but updated; they give you free mini banana muffins every morning that were so good and the give you real lei flowers. Don’t buy one from the airlines. The hotel had such great service. We visited three islands in Hawaii and stayed in three hotels. This hotel is like a pink castle; it’s one of the oldest hotels on the island. It was right in the middle of everything but yet you could step out onto the beach where you could surf. It was minutes from Diamond Head, which is great for running, hiking, and biking and views of surfers.
To Elaborate Waking up early is so rewarding – there’s so much to see, especially surfers. There are so many details to pay attention to! The aroma of flowers, all the room doors are hand-carved wood with tribal symbols. Oahu gets a bad rep because it’s a city but we asked locals for their tips and got steered in the right direction. I recommend Chef Chai, it’s outside of the hotel and modern Polynesian food and the best I had on the island. I recommend renting a jeep and driving to the North Shore, it’s a 45-minute drive, and there is the best restaurant, Ted’s Bakery with this incredible lunch plate. Don’t leave without taking a mini macadamia chocolate chip cookies, we devoured them! One of the coolest parts was driving through the Dole Pineapple Fields.
