Bride/Babe: Hadley Sullivan

This week's Bride/Babe is my soon-to-be sister-in-law Hadley Sullivan. A globetrotting publicist for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, she's traveled to ten countries for work alone, but when it came to settling on a wedding venue, she chose a place that means the world to her: her husband's backyard in Cotuit. Their wedding was the definition of Cape Cod beautiful, and had all of the right ingredients: ocean views, beautiful weather, and a crazy happy couple.

Dress ByCarolina Herrera. It was incredibly comfortable and light-weight which was great for an outdoor, summer wedding but had enough structure and body to make it feel like a bridal dress and photograph beautifully. The intricate lace detail added a whimsical, romantic element that I just loved. I didn't want to take it off.

Shoes by Jimmy Choo. They were so comfortable I wore them the entire night of the rehearsal dinner, the whole wedding day and night and barely wanted to take them off at the after party. Wearing a wedge was a lifesaver, especially given the wedding was outdoors and mostly on grass. My mom loved them so much she wore the exact same pair!!

Accessories byMy earrings were from a vintage jewelry store and were a gift from my grandmother. My mom also let me wear a beautiful bracelet that was a family heirloom. I loved having something old and unique.

Health secret Drink a ton of water in the months leading up to the big day for beautiful skin. Maintaining a healthy diet and regular exercise always helps, especially workouts that help lengthen and tone.

Beauty secret I had a series of facials in the months leading up to the big day, but nothing helped more than using "Tensage Intensive Serum 40" by biopelle. This 10-day treatment totally transformed my skin, and is an affordable treatment at only $125. I can't wait to use it again!

Greatest moment of the night Hard to choose one, but I would say when my husband and I took a moment to just soak it all in from outside of the tent. Seeing our closest friends and family together on the dance floor, having just as much fun as we were and enjoying the beautiful setting was just magical.

Advice for Brides-to-Be Take a moment during the reception, just the two of you, to step away and take everything in. The entire day flies by, especially once you hit the dance floor, and it's so important to have that quick moment to realize that all of the people you care most about are together in one place to celebrate your love. Don't sweat the small stuff. No one will even notice on the big day, not even you. Invest in a good photographer. Those memories will last a lifetime.
