One of the best ways to personalize your wedding and make it uniquely yours is making the simple decision to let it reflect your loves in life - in Brenna Coughlin's case she was the epitome of a gorgeous, natural bride who drew inspiration from her bi-coastal heart for a highly personal and stylish wedding. As a Boston native, SF transplant getting married at her family's home on Martha's Vineyard, she brought in West Coast influences - laidback, natural and bohemian - and elements that honored her East coast roots, especially those that spoke to her island farm setting: simple accessories, rustic flowers, a detailed but breezy lace dress, and even a tennis tournament for a welcome party!
Bridal Style Natural
Dress by Monique Lhuillier; I bought the dress at their flagship store in NYC and loved it. We wanted the wedding to be a mix of the traditional with the bohemian. The dress was so comfortable and the lace made it nice enough to be black-tie but easy enough to be worn in a farm setting.
Shoes byEmerson Fry. I love the simplicity of Emerson Fry's style and they are the most comfortable platform shoes. The thick heel made it is easy to walk around in the grass, too.
Accessories byThe only piece of jewelry I wore was a simple pearl bracelet of my mother's. It felt special to wear something of hers on such a memorable night!
Health secretI tried all different workouts leading up to our big day but I got into a habit of drinking lots of water every day and that alone had such a big impact.
Beauty secretIn addition to drinking a lot of water, I swear by Knesko face masks. Leading up to our wedding I was especially obsessed with their Nanogold Repair Face Mask which really make you look like you're glowing!

Greatest moment(s) of the night I will never forget hopping into our getaway car and pulling away from the church in my mother’s Mini Cooper. John and I were giggling with excitement and he had only learned how to drive stick 2 days before so it could have gone either way. He nailed it! Our first dance to Jackie Wilson’s Higher and Higher was also the perfect way to set the tone for the night. We wanted this to be a celebration and couldn’t have had more fun spinning around the dance floor.

Advice for Brides-to-Be The weekend flies by so enjoy every second! One of my closest friends also advised us that my husband and I should stick together the entire night. It seems obvious but with so many friends and family excited to celebrate it's easy to get pulled in different directions. It's important to stick with your new spouse and remember that the day is about your marriage not the wedding!
Was there any one or two vendors you would highly recommend? If so, why? Our wedding planner, Kristen, from KG Events & Design. She was on top of every detail from helping plan our kick-off tennis tournament to the farewell brunch, taking care of things we hadn't even thought of. We couldn't have done it without her!
